Hear from some of our past participants about their experiences:
“Fall Fest was a great introduction to The Toledo Club and the sport of squash. It was such a fun atmosphere and a great way to meet club members and make new connections. I would highly recommend Fall Fest to anyone that is new to squash!" — Chris Thomas, Fall Fest 2023 Newbie
"Last year, I participated in the Newbie Squash Tournament at The Toledo Club. While I had no idea what squash was when I signed up, I was excited to learn a new sport. I immediately fell in love with the fast-paced game and the great group of people hanging out in the basement of The Toledo Club. Although I didn't win the tournament, I joined the club to continue playing squash! My family has made lots of new friends through this sport, and we love playing through the winter at the club with our new squash family." — Lindsey Mahoney, Fall Fest 2023 Newbie

What is Squash?
Squash is a life-long social sport for members of all ages, athletic abilities, and skill levels. This racquet sport is played in an indoor court with 4 walls, and the objective is to hit a small rubber ball against the front wall while your opponent tries to return it before the ball bounces twice. Squash is not just about being healthy or competing, it’s an intergenerational sport that will surely enrich your life and build long lasting friendships. Squash at The Toledo Club is run by former Pro, Alex Noakes, and includes intro clinics, private and group lessons, women’s social nights, the infamous winter squash league, and junior squash programming.
Two additional fun facts about squash. Forbes named squash as the world’s healthiest sport, and squash will find its way into the 2028 Olympics for the first time ever in Los Angeles. Check out the hype video here.
